| Fast forward to now, they placed 2nd in several categories at the State Competition. These guys put in alot of practice to prepare for the state competition. But none of this would have happened without Grand Bay’s Fire Chief Richie Dodge. A special thanks to Chief Dodge for getting this started back up again down in Mobile County. I highly encourage all the Volunteer Fire Depts in Mobile and Baldwin County, to get involved in next years competition. Let’s make it bigger and bring back the 1st Place Trophy next time. Thanks to my Fire Board for supporting our folks this year. A job well done Asst Chief Ryan Boone, my members, and their families that went up to support them. Great Job all the way around.
