| Foster L. Harrington. On this Memorial Day, we pay tribute to his bravery, sacrifice, and selflessness.
Sgt. Harrington, a devoted member of the Seven Hills community and the Marine Corps Reserve's 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company, made the ultimate sacrifice on September 20th, 2004, while courageously fighting for our freedom in Iraq's Anbar province. His unwavering dedication to duty and his commitment to serving others continue to inspire us all. 💪
Not only was Sgt. Harrington a fearless Marine, but he also exemplified the spirit of service as firefighter with our district. His passion for helping others extended beyond the battlefield, and his contributions to our community will never be forgotten. 🚒❤️
As we remember Sgt. Harrington today, let us also honor all the brave members of the U.S. Armed Forces who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Their courage and valor remind us of the cost of freedom and the debt we owe to those who protect it. 🙏
To honor Sgt. Harrington's legacy, we have retired the number 743, symbolizing his dedication and heroism. We have his photo on a wall at our Central Station, along with Squad 43, serving as a reminder of his service and the values we uphold as first responders. 🎖️
Join us in honoring Sgt. Foster L. Harrington and all our fallen heroes today. Take a moment to reflect on their sacrifice, express gratitude, and remember that freedom comes at a great cost. 🌟
