🔋 Stock up on essentials like batteries (AAA, AA, C, D, 6V, 9V), cell phone batteries, and chargers. Stay connected with portable self-powered or battery-powered radios, two-way radios, weatherband radios, or NOAA weather radios. Illuminate your space with battery-powered flashlights, lanterns, or emergency glow sticks.
🌧️ Be ready for anything with tarps, plastic sheeting, drop cloths, flexible waterproof sheeting, and ground anchor systems. Secure your surroundings with bungee cords, ropes, or tie-down kits, and patch up any situation with duct tape. Protect your windows with plywood, window film, or specially designed materials.
🍽️ Ensure your family's well-being with non-electric food storage coolers, water storage containers, and can openers. Be equipped for emergencies with a self-contained first aid kit, fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector. Stay powered up with gas or diesel fuel tanks/containers, portable generators, and power cords (under $1,000).
❄️ Keep things cool with artificial ice, blue ice, ice packs, or reusable ice. This sales tax holiday is the perfect opportunity to bolster your emergency preparedness kit!
